I guess this is one way to wean kids off of greasy fries, but don't you wonder what happens to all the skins?

Time Is Money. . .and Dinner! Our food choices are constrained by more than just income, prices, and individual preferences. Time available for preparing food is also a limited resource. ERS analysis of the 2003-04 American Time Use Survey indicates that, among women, time commitments are more important than income in determining the time spent preparing food.

Food stamp recipients do spend most or all of their benefits before the end of the month. However, most recipients have sufficient income so that the food stamp benefit is a portion (70%) of the cost of the Thrifty Food Plan – that is, they are contributing other resources to the households food purchase.
